Deal or No Deal Island Season 1 contestants Kim Mattina and Jamil Sipes visit the Jack Vita Show, to reflect on the show's first season, in advance of Season 2's premiere later this week!
Back in May 2024, Jamil visited the show for the very first time. When Jamil was eliminated in the second episode, Jack had not yet begun doing exit interviews with the exiled cast members. Jamil joins Jack for a special, hour-long conversation, featuring Kim, in his first appearance on the Jack Vita Show.
Kim and Jamil have a very fun conversation with Jack about their time on the Banker's Island, as well as the time they spent together in the loser's lodge, after each of them were sent packing. Where do contestants go, and how do they spend their time, once they've been eliminated? Kim and Jamil also provide commentary on the first season. What did they think of Boston Rob's gameplay, and the gameplay of the other members that reached the final four?
Jamil was the show's second contestant eliminated. Kim was picked to face the banker. Upon defeating the banker, Kim selected Jamil for elimination. Kim explains in this podcast episode why she targeted Jamil. Kim was eliminated two episodes later by Boston Rob Mariano.
This conversation was taped the week before the DONDI S1 finale. It got lost in the shuffle with all of the finale content we released at the time. With Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 premiering later this week, we felt that this was the right time to release this conversation, which we've had in the can for nearly eight months!
