Beginning Tuesday, The Jack Vita Show will be running a 64-show super-tournament that will crown the "Greatest Kids Show of the 2000s".

Among the 64 shows jockeying for the throne, there are 16 Disney Channel shows, 32 Nickelodeon shows and 16 shows from PBS and Cartoon Network.
What qualifies a show for contention?
First and foremost, each show must have been created specifically for kids, on a kids network. That eliminates family sitcoms such as Malcolm in the Middle and Everybody Hates Chris, both of which first aired on other networks and appealed to older demographics, in addition to children.
Second, the show had to have debuted or ended sometime between the years 2000 and 2010. Any show that ended before 2000 or premiered after 2010 doesn't fit the bill. My apologies to Paw Patrol and Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
Seeding was determined after collecting feedback from the Jack Vita Show audience, with the show's with the most iconic shows with the greatest cultural impact and crossover appeal landing the highest seeds. It's important to note that this bracket appeals to millennials and Gen-Z-ers of various ages. The older demographic of this audience likely stopped watching kids' shows in the mid 2000s, while the younger demographic may not have started watching shows until the late 2000s. Naturally, these demographics will likely be unfamiliar with at least some shows that are near the top of this seeding. I carefully collected data from both demographics, averaged it out, and came up with this bracket. Don't like it? Vote for your favorites!
How can people vote?
Polls will run on my social media pages each weekday this week, and beyond, beginning Tuesday. Voters are allowed to vote once for each match-up on each social media platform. So in theory, one could vote for Spongebob on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all in the same day, for a total of three votes. Every vote will count. We'll keep voting each round until we have a champion.
